A moment to reflect and meditate on the beauty that
surrounds you.

A moment to inhale flowery sweetness...
One of the most beautiful blooms that stir our hearts and
captures our eye time and time again are...
Roses
These sweet cupped hearts and soft pastel colored petals
seems to fold their petals around our soul and spreads a radiance of joy that
make our hearts sing with happiness!
The thrill of seeing a rosebud transform into a blooming
rose is a miracle in itself !
The
beautiful Old English Rose, Louis Odier has a warm pink that is softly shaded
with lilac.
It
carries a rich perfume !
Look how this rose bathes itself in the
evening light !
Roses are beautiful to tend and they
look pretty in a vase ~ but we also use them in our
kitchen...
It's a joy to use these delicate petals
and turn them into something delectable and even
medicinal...
~Rose infused oil~
This rose oil can be used in all sorts of medicinal
concoctions after it has steeped for about two weeks.
That results in a soothing oil that can be added to
your bodylotion,
moisturizer, as a base for making your own lipbalm that nourishes and soothes chapped lips ,...

~ How to harvest roses ~
Gather the petals when the rose is fully expanded.
Use organic roses that are untreated,
unsprayed and good smelling !
Gather them in the late morning when the dew has dried.
Hold the petals
together with the tips of your fingers and twist.
We fill a jar and pack it full with the
petals ...
Add your favorite oil , such as Almond, Jojoba or
Sunflower.
Incorporate it well.
Let steep for about two to three weeks ,out of direct
sunlight.
Sieve the oil and discard the petals.
You just made your own:
